What to Consider After Leech Therapy?

After a leech therapy session:
– Drink plenty of water
– Rest (especially when leeches are applied to the leg area)
– On the day of application, do not take any blood thinning medication or foods such as lemon, garlic, etc. that may thin the blood.
– For one day, avoid contact of the area where the leech was placed with water.
